We purchased the Superyard XT Play Yard about 10 months ago for our daughter who is now 20 months old. Around her 10th month when she started becoming curious George we had to go shopping. She was trying to climb stairs, pull the computer wires and trying to put her tiny fingers in the electrical sockets. We definitely didn’t want some tiny “play pen” for a safe play area at home. They look like a jail. Couldn’t they find a way to make bigger safe playpens where kids can move around a bit? Children look so pathetic and lonely in small playpens as you can not join them in there to play. Basically superyard xt play yard is a series of interlocking gates that you can shape in a kind of hexagon and as the gates are latticed, you can hang toys from the sides for your child to “discover.”

My daughter loves the fact that she can see through the Superyard XT Play yard and it is big enough for mom and dad to sit inside and play with her.

The superyard xt play yard is waterproof, easy for the child to see through, pretty easy to fold and set up. It fits easily in the trunk of your car for picnics and can be hosed off as it is made up of weather resistant plastic.

When collapsed, superyard Xt play yard can fit in a closet, under a crib or bed, or simply against a wall.

I can now leave her alone in the superyard xt play yard and answer my phone or door, cook and clean, without her going boooo.. wahh…

After 10 months of everyday use, our superyard xt play yard gate has not shown any signs of wear or weakening.

We found it is little clumsy to fold because of its large size and requires some muscle to fix the extensions. The superyard xt play yard gate is not to be used for the top of stairs and works well on carpet. If you have hardwood floor than you might have to use foam mats for support.
